Senior Compliance Analyst
Job Description & Specifc Duties:
The focus of the Senior Compliance Analyst is to conduct supplier evaluations, render supplier classification recommendations, provide expert advice, counsel and training to clients and the compliance team and participate as the compliance subject matter expert in sales presentations and implementations. The Senior Compliance Analyst will also be responsible for documenting process, procedure and policy for the compliance team. Senior Compliance Analysts may supervise other employees. Employee is expected to spend 20% of working time in the field visiting clients, 15% of working time performing research and the balance of working time in the office.
Specific duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Compliance Services:
- Consult with and evaluate suppliers, recommend classifications to senior compliance analysts, build and maintain supplier files, manage time sensitive documents.
- Prepare reports using proprietary compliance technology, Excel and other applications.
- Participate in the preparation of client presentations and materials using Power Point, Visio and other applications.
- Participate and/or lead client presentations.
- Participate in sales calls and presentations.
- Prepare client quality review materials.
- Research compliance issues, cases, litigation, legislation, etc.
- Prepare and provide compliance training to clients.
- Perform second pass evaluations for junior compliance analysts.
- Travel to prospect and client locations.
- Train senior and junior compliance analysts as well as other co-workers.
- Supervise senior and junior compliance analysts (not all senior compliance analysts will be in supervisory roles.)
- Prepare and maintain compliance process, policy and procedure.
Account Management:
- Work with client services specialists to obtain required compliance documents from suppliers and clients.
- Prepare and deliver compliance training to client services team.
- Respond to compliance questions from client services.

- Conduct activities to enrich the work life of staff and team members (once per year for each staff member).
- Engage in unique activities to attract talented people, personally introducing talent to other division Managers for current or future positions.
- Engage in activities to contribute to the overall success of the Company (i.e., creative cost savings plans, liability reduction and avoidance, loss/risk avoidance and containment, diffusing volatile situations, uncovering unknown opportunities, identifying trouble spots prior to becoming a problem, etc.).
- Continually meet or exceed expectations.
Required Experience:
- 3+ years minimum experience in evaluating independent contractors & suppliers and determining employment classification.
- 3+ years supervising (if this is a supervisory position).
- Ability to operate autonomously.
- Travel up to 40% of the time.
- Experienced presenter.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
